CSNews' 2013 Best New Products Contest Now Accepting Entries
JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Convenience Store News is now accepting entries for its 2013 Best New Products Awards.
Food and non-food products introduced to the market between April 1, 2012 and March 31 of this year will be evaluated based on convenience, value, appearance, packaging and other criteria. Only products designed for resale to consumers will be considered; no store equipment, fixtures or technology products are eligible.
Products can be entered in 28 different award categories. Each entry must include three samples; supporting documents; a disk or flash drive with logos and product shots; a $125 check for handling fee (online payment is available); and a completed entry form.
Winning products will be announced at the 2013 NACS Show and featured in the November New Product Leadership supplement.
Last year's winners included The Hershey Co.'s Jolly Rancher Crunch 'N Chew, NJOY's One Joy Disposable Electronic Cigarette (Traditional Bold 1.8 percent) and Lil' Drug Store Products' EZ Paks Over the Counter.
