CST Appoints Jenny Bullard as Director of Tech Innovation

SAN ANTONIO — CST Brands Inc. named Jenny Bullard its director of technology innovation.

Bullard brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served Flash Foods Inc. parent company The Jones Co. for more than 43 years, including her most recent role as chief information officer.

San Antonio-based CST Brands, operator of approximately 2,000 convenience stores in the United States and Canada, closed on its acquisition of Flash Foods on Feb. 2 for $425 million, as CSNews Online reported

According to the San Antonio Business Journal, Bullard will help strengthen customer loyalty, as well as make CST’s main operating banner, Corner Store, an even bigger name brand.

In addition to her role at Waycross, Ga.-based Flash Foods, Bullard also served as chairwoman of NACStech and served on the board of directors of PCATS, now known as Conexxus.

She has received a plethora of industry honors, including being named Convenience Store News Technology Executive of the Year in 2004, Pinnacle Hall of Fame in 2005, Conexxus Hall of Fame in 2014, and most recently was named a Woman of the Year at Convenience Store News’ Top Women in Convenience 2015 awards, which took place in October at the NACS Show in Las Vegas.

In addition, Bullard, along with Flash Foods Director of Marketing Jeanie Amerson, were instrumental in the launch of Flash Foods’ GoBlue mobile app, which won the 2014 Convenience Store News Technology Implementation of the Year award.
