Cub Foods, Holiday Stationstores Offered Gas Savings Bonus Days

STILLWATER, Minn. -- Customers of Cub Foods who earned gasoline discount coupons when they bought their groceries earned even more money at the pump, as the grocery retailer offered Gas Savings Bonus Days, which ended Sept. 5, according to a report in the Stillwater Gazette.

Cub Foods customers who spent $50 to $99.99 saved 10 cents per gallon at participating Cub Fuel Express and Holiday Stationstores in the Twin Cities area.

Those spending $100 to $149.99 saved 20 cents per gallon; customers spending $150 or more saved 30 cents per gallon.

Customers were able to use up to three coupons per gasoline purchase, for a total savings of up to 90 cents off per gallon of gasoline.

Gas Savings Bonus Days coupons were printed at the checkout after the Cub Foods grocery transaction. Cub Fuel Express stores are located in the parking lots of certain Cub Foods stores. Coupons were also accepted at all participating Twin Cities Holiday Stationstores locations.

Cub Foods is a SuperValu Inc. company, with estimated annual sales of $42 billion at its approximately 2,500 retail grocery locations.
