Cumberland Farms Giving Away Free Iced Tea All Month
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. and NEW YORK -- Cumberland Farms convenience stores will give away free iced tea on Fridays for the rest of June, according to a Milford Daily News report.
On June 10, 17 and 24, customers can visit any Cumberland Farms location for a free serving of its freshly brewed iced tea. On a normal day, the iced tea is priced at 99 cents for any size.
Cumberland Farms isn't the first chain to lure in customers with free servings of tea. On May 13, Thorntons gave away free servings of its new Thorntons Legendary Fresh Brewed Tea. The company’s president and CEO invited customers to "taste the difference" by trying its tea, which comes sweetened or unsweetened.
Today, Snapple is also holding an iced tea promotion in New York City to celebrate National Iced Tea Day, CBS Local reported. The brand is giving away samples of diet peach and raspberry Snapple iced teas from select food trucks.
Bian Dang, Eddie's Pizza NY, RickshawTruck, Schnitzel & Things and Souvlaki GR food trucks will provide the samples along with their usual lunch menus.
