Cumberland Farms to Host 'Free Chill Zone Day'
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Cumberland Farms is offering its customers the chance to cool down as temperatures soar toward the 90-degree mark in the Northeast.
The Framingham-based retailer is hosting Free Chill Zone Day on Friday, June 20. As part of the promotion, customers will be treated to fountain or frozen drinks -- any size -- for free at Cumberland Farms convenience stores.
The promotion excludes 20-ounce bottled soda, Twisted Scoops and Chillzicles, according to the chain.
In addition, customers can upload a photo of their Free Chill Zone beverage to Twitter or Instagram using #GotMyChillZone to be entered into hourly drawings for Cumberland Farms prize packs.
Cumberland Farms, which operates more than 600 stores in 11 states, held its first Free Chill Zone Day in June 2010 as a reward for reaching 100,000 Facebook fans.
