Cumberland Farms Manager Charged with Embezzlement
ATTLEBORO, Mass. -- A South Attleboro, Mass. Cumberland Farms store manager is accused of embezzling $24,000 from the c-store retailer by stealing deposits and altering bank deposit slips, according to The Sun Chronicle.
Tiffany Ford, 27, of Lincoln, R.I., pleaded innocent Tuesday in District Court to larceny by embezzlement, forgery, uttering a forged document and larceny over $250, according to the report.
Ford was the manager at a Cumberland Farms store at in South Attleboro until the alleged embezzlement was reported to police Friday by the company's loss prevention officials.
