Cumberland Farms Signs Chainwide Distribution Pact With NJOY
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Cumberland Farms has formed a distribution partnership with NJOY. Starting this month, NJOY's newest electronic cigarette, NJOY Kings, will be available at all Cumberland Farms stores, along with other NJOY products.
"Cumberland Farms has an excellent reputation for bringing the best products to the communities they serve," stated NJOY CEO Craig Weiss. "This is an exciting partnership and one that we know will satisfy the customers of Cumberland Farms."
NJOY was founded in 2006 and became a market leader in the e-cigarette segment, achieving 38.5 percent market share of dollars according to 2012 Nielsen Scan Track numbers in convenience stores, the company stated. "At Cumberland Farms, we are focused on bringing an innovative selection of new products to our customers," said Cumberland Farms' Anne Flint, senior category manager, tobacco. "This is why we are happy to welcome NJOY, the leading electronic cigarette brand in America, and their revolutionary NJOY Kings product into the Cumberland Farms community."
Last month, NJOY signed a similar distribution deal with Sheetz, as CSNews Online reported.
"We are thrilled to add Cumberland Farms to the growing number of convenience stores selling the NJOY Kings electronic cigarette to adult smokers," added Vito Maurici, senior vice president of sales and distribution for NJOY. "Available in over 30,000 retail stores nationwide, NJOY continues to grow its market share at an incredibly fast pace."
