Delivering the Goods
MIAMI -- Farm Stores Grocery Inc., the nation's largest operator of drive-through convenience stores, selected Associated Grocers of Florida to supply grocery items to all 104 of its Express Markets in Florida.
The alliance will enable Farm Stores to offer customers more product selection, sizes and supermarket prices, with over 1,500 new grocery items including fresh fruits, produce, baking, baby essentials, pet food and floral.
The Farm Stores strategy is to continue providing customers a more convenient shopping experience with the same fast service Farm Stores drive-throughs have always delivered. Now with more choices and better prices, Farm Stores aims to compete with the express lanes of traditional supermarkets, without getting out of your car, the company said.
"Associated Grocers' strategically located warehouses in Miami and Ocala, Fla. will assist us in providing accurate, fast, dependable, and on-time deliveries to all of our Express Markets," said Carlos Bared, CEO of Farm Stores Grocery.
