Dunkin' Expands Food Menu to Keep Americans Running
CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin' Donuts has introduced new menu items to help keep its customers running in the New Year.
The Chocolate Croissant, as well as the Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel, made their debut Dec. 29. Both items are available through early 2015.
The Chocolate Croissant features flaky croissant dough with a chocolatey filling, served warm, and available nationwide at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants. The Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel is a plain bagel with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and herb topping, served whole and warm, and available at select Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
Dunkin' Donuts also kicked off a New Year's-themed Twitter sweepstakes to help coffee lovers ring in 2015. Followers of @DunkinDonuts were entered to win Dunkin' Donuts coffee for a year by answering New Year's-themed questions using the hashtag #DDNewYearSweeps through Dec. 31. Additionally, participants were randomly selected to receive a $100 mGift prize.
Along with the new croissant and bagel options, Dunkin’ Donuts plans to introduce a Turkey Sausage Flatbread, featuring turkey sausage, egg and reduced-fat cheddar cheese, served on an oven-toasted multigrain flatbread. This latest flatbread offering is seen as the perfect pairing for the chain's Dark Roast Coffee, which it added in 2014.
The Turkey Sausage Flatbread will also be available as a Wake-up Wrap, served on a flour tortilla.
