E-Z Mart’s Fuel Pricing Gets Easier With PriceAdvantage
TEXARKANA, Texas — E-Z Mart Stores Inc. selected PriceAdvantage software to drive fuel pricing automation at its 286 convenience stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
According to PriceAdvantage, a division of Skyline Products Inc., E-Z Mart selected the software based on its automation of manual processes, management by exceptional tools and demonstrated return on investment.
"Simply put, we wanted greater speed and control over our fuel pricing,” said Liff Luthringer, E-Z Mart's vice president of petroleum operations. “We chose PriceAdvantage because it allows us to push instant price changes from the store support center and more efficiently manage and analyze the data used in pricing decisions. More time is now available for analyzing the hard pricing decisions and finding ways to improve the performance of our fuel business.”
The c-store chain tested PriceAdvantage software at a few stores, Luthringer added, and "ran the numbers. We know that PriceAdvantage will make us faster and more competitive, and we are confident it will make us more profitable."
Implementation of the software to the 286 c-stores should take just weeks to complete thanks to pre-built integrations with E-Z Mart's current accounting and point-of-sale (POS) systems and the "agile" project management practices utilized by the PriceAdvantage implementation team, according to the announcement.
