SAVANNAH, Ga. — Enmarket Stations Inc. is boosting its convenience store reach with a 36-store deal.
The locally based company has signed a letter of intent to acquire Glennville-based Clyde's Market Inc. Clyde Markets has locations throughout Southeast Georgia.
"We expect a closing in late November," Enmarket's Brett Giesick told CSNews Online.
The company plans to release more details on the transaction in a few weeks.
Enmarket is part of the Colonial Oil Industries Inc. family of companies. The retailer operates roughly 60 convenience stores in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Previously known as Enmark, it launched a rebranding initiative in 2015 to better align with its commitment to fresh food and health.
