Executive at The Pantry Resigns
SANFORD, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc., operator of more than 1,644 convenience stores headquartered here, will lose one of its executives effective March 31, 2008, when its senior vice president of operations, David M. Zaborski, will resign from the company to pursue other interests, the company stated.
"I want to thank David for his contributions to The Pantry and wish him well in his future endeavors," company CEO Pete Sodini said in a statement.
Additionally, Brad Williams, currently division vice president for the company, where he oversees 550 convenience stores, will be promoted to the position of vice president of field operations. Williams joined the company in 1998, and has held several operations management positions within that time, the company stated.
"Brad is an outstanding performer, and I am confident that he will provide solid leadership to help drive continued growth in our business," added Sodini.
