ExxonMobil Deploys Financial Services Kiosks in Texas
BURNABY, BC -- TIO Networks Corp. owner of North America's leading automated bill payment and financial services network, today announced the deployment of more than 100 E-Wiz financial services kiosks are now in more than 100 ExxonMobil On the Run and Tigermarket convenience stores in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
"Over the past decade, Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio have experienced a substantial population growth," said Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and CEO of TIO Networks.
"A large proportion -- estimates range from 25 percent to 58 percent -- of this community is 'unbanked.' TIO Networks sees a substantial market opportunity to serve these consumers by providing access to bill payment services and other financial tools."
E-Wiz, a member of the TIO Network, is ExxonMobil's brand of self-service automated bill payment and financial services kiosks that enable convenience store patrons to securely and conveniently pay their wireless, cable, utility and other bills in cash, purchase prepaid products and access other financial services, the company reported.
Currently, ExxonMobil's E-Wiz kiosks serve more than 50,000 people in 4 states.
