Farmer Brothers Ready to 'Roast' With New HQ
NORTHLAKE, Texas — Farmer Bros. Co. will celebrate the grand opening of its new corporate headquarters and roasting facility in Northlake by hosting a ceremonial “first roast” on Thursday, April 27.
Taking place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the ceremonial roast will host local media and dignitaries alongside CEO Mike Keown and other company executives. Private tours will be conducted following the ceremony.
The new corporate campus, located at 1912 Farmer Brothers Dr., encompasses roughly 538,000 square feet. It features a green bean warehouse, which has the capacity to hold 16 million lbs. of green coffee storage, while the roasting plant will produce 24-28 million lbs. of coffee at full capacity.
With the move to Northlake, more than 300 new jobs have been brought to North Texas, the company stated.
Founded in 1912, Farmer Bros. Co. is a national coffee roaster, wholesaler and distributor of coffee, tea and culinary products. It is a direct distributor of coffee to convenience stores, restaurants, hotels, casinos, quick-service restaurants, healthcare facilities, hotels, offices and other foodservice providers, as well as private brand retailers.
