First Coast C-stores Fundraise for Medical Care

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- First Coast Energy's convenience stores teamed up with St. Vincent's Medical Center's charitable arm for a fundraiser to help poor families get free medical care, Jacksonville.com reported.

Beginning Feb. 1, the company's Daily's and Shell convenience stores will sell paper buses in $1 and $5 increments at participating locations, and proceeds will go to St. Vincent's Mobile Health Outreach Ministry.

The organization operates four mobile health vans and provides more than 45,000 medical services a year, according to the report.
