Fresh & Easy Opens 20th Store in Arizona
PHOENIX -- Amidst fanfare, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market opened its 67th store at 7th Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix.
Attendees of the celebration included local dignitaries, neighbors and representatives from the Fresh Start Women's Resource Center, who were presented with a donation to support the Center's efforts in the neighborhood. The organization was selected by the store's staff from neighborhood nominations made through Fresh & Easy's Web site.
"We thank Mayor Gordon, Council Member Simplot and their teams for all their help in making this store, and numerous others, a possibility. We have been remarkably well received throughout the region," Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason, said in a released statement.
The opening marks the 20th store in the greater Phoenix area. Mason announced four upcoming store openings Arizona including Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, and the first location in Tempe.
"We look forward to opening even more stores throughout the Valley and bringing high quality foods at great prices -- and competitive jobs -- to the area," Mason said in a released statement.
