Future of Convenience Conference Gets New Name & Look

WELSHPOOL, U.K. -- The Future of Convenience conference is getting a new look for 2014.

Months after forming an equity partnership for the annual conference, NACS, the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing and Insight Research have unveiled the rebranded NACS Insight Convenience Summit - Europe.

"The new brand replaces the former Future of Convenience and reflects our desire to retain the best of our past events, [while] adding new content, experiences and activities that substantially benefit attending delegates when they return to their business," according to Insight Research.

For 16 years, United Kingdom-based Insight Research presented the Future of Convenience conference. Alexandria, Va.-based NACS served as partner for the event for seven years and enhanced that partnership in the fall by taking an equity interest in the conference, as CSNews Online previously reported.

The new agreement between NACS and Insight Research allows the two organizations to expand and further develop the event to deliver enhanced thought leadership, best-practices sharing and extensive commercial connections for European convenience retailers and suppliers.

The 2014 NACS Insight Convenience Summit - Europe begins June 1 in Paris for two days before delegates convene in London on June 4. Conference information and the schedule of events can be found at conveniencesummit.com.
