GPM Supports Military Families

RESEARCH TRIANGLE, N.C. -- Convenience retailer GPM Investments LLC, which operates both the FasMart and Shore Stop convenience store chains, teamed up with the non-profit Support U.S. Armed Forces organization in February to raise over $66,000.00 for families of military personnel currently deployed around the globe.

"We are delighted to partner with Support U.S. Armed Forces in their mission to aid families of our brave men and women in uniform," said David Eisenberg, president and CEO of GPM. "At such a time as this, when our military efforts are seemingly taking a 'back seat' to the economic news of the day, we feel as though it’s more important than ever to show our continued support of our local military families."

Eisenberg added, "Moreover, and perhaps, most importantly, it should be noted that we undertook this fundraising challenge with the focus and purpose that 100 percent of the money raised would be used to support the military families in our local communities."

GPM Investments LLC is headquartered in Richmond, Virg., and operates 213 convenience stores under the FasMart and Shore Stop banners. It also supplies over 115 independent dealers in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Tennessee.
