Gulf Oil Reveals Post-Acquisition Leadership Team
WELLESLEY HILL, Mass. — Gulf Oil LP announced its new leadership team following its acquisition by Chelsea Petroleum Products Holdings LLC. The affiliate of ArcLight Capital Partners LLC purchased Gulf from Cumberland Farms Inc. on Dec. 30.
Gulf’s leadership team now comprises:
- Jerry Ashcroft as CEO;
- Mike Campbell as chief financial officer;
- Ron Sabia as chief strategy officer;
- Walter Brickowski as senior vice president of unbranded marketing;
- Meredith Sadlowski as vice president of branded sales and marketing;
- Mike Studley as vice president of branded operations, compliance and marketing; and
- Kathryn O’Brien as senior director of marketing.
Also joining Gulf as board members are former CEO Joe Petrowski and Bob Bost, former president of Pyramid Petroleum Terminals.
“With our new leadership team in place, which brings individuals new to Gulf together with those who will continue to ensure its success, we are excited to usher in a new era for Gulf,” said Ashcroft. “Our group has outstanding expertise and experience in all areas of energy, fuel and logistics, and this is a resource that we will call upon repeatedly as we move Gulf forward.”
Ashcroft was most recently chief operating officer of JP Energy Partners. Campbell served as CFO of the general partners of Crestwood Equity Partners and Crestwood Midstream Partners. O’Brien worked in sales and marketing positions at ConocoPhillips, Motiva and Shell Oil.
Sabia most recently served as president and COO at Gulf. Sadlowski was vice president of Gulf’s branded contract sales operations, while Studley formerly was Gulf’s senior director of branded operations.
Gulf Oil LP owns and operates 17 proprietary terminals, as well as supplies wholesale product through 75 other terminals. It is a distributor of motor fuels — both gasoline and diesel — to more than 1,750 branded outlets and 1,000 private label retail outlets operated by major chain retailers.
