Hess Happy with Dunkin Donuts Locations
LEBANON, Pa. -- Last year’s agreement between Hess Corp. and quick-service restaurant (QSR) Dunkin’ Donuts to introduce the self-service centers in Hess gas stations/convenience stores, has come to fruition at a handful of locations including one in Lebanon County.
"We love it. We’re very happy with it," Dana Olita, district manager for all Hess stores in Lebanon County and parts of Lancaster County, told the Lebanon Daily News.
Hess has aggressive plans for the QSR, which include opening approximately 175 sites across the nation this year. Olita told the paper the transition wouldn’t be difficult because "Dunkin’ has everything down to a simple formula."
Mike Sharifi, store manager, told the paper coffee sales have spiked. "The feedback has been very good," he said. "People who like Dunkin’ Donuts like the convenience because they don’t have to drive all the way to the other side of town," Sharifi said, noting the Dunkin’ Donuts located in front of the Lebanon Valley Mall.
In addition to the South Lebanon store, Annville and Richland locations have welcomed Dunkin Donuts to the fold.
