Hess Teams with Energy Drink Company on "Fighting" Promotion
LAS VEGAS -- Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fans on the East Coast who shop at Hess Express convenience stores have a chance to win a UFC weekend-for-two prize package from XYIENCE, makers of Xenergy, the official energy drink of the UFC, through a new promotion, according to the companies.
Running from Dec. 1, 2009, through Jan. 31, 2010, the contest includes select Hess convenience stores spanning from Massachusetts to Florida, and entry forms will be available on Xenergy case stackers at participating Hess locations. There is no purchase necessary to enter the contest, and the winner will be randomly selected in early February to receive two tickets to a future UFC fight, along with hotel accommodations and airfare, the companies reported.
The contest kicks off a partnership between XYIENCE and Hess, which started stocking Xenergy Xtreme -- a sugar- and calorie-free energy drink -- this month, and is offering the 16-ounce cans in Citrus Slam, Lemon Blast and Cherry Rush at a promotional price of two cans for $3.
