Holiday Stationstores Gets Technical
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Holiday Stationstores, operator of more than 300 convenience stores in 11 states, said it has selected the 6e Enterprise Productivity Suite from Radiant Systems Inc. as its new back-office software.
The deal comes as Holiday's rollout of Radiant's Point-of-Sale (POS) solution reached a milestone toward on-schedule completion with its 175th installation. Holiday Stationstores is implementing Radiant's technology to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs while improving the customer experience.
"Radiant's solutions help us offer customers low prices and an exceptional in-store experience whether they are visiting our Holiday Pantry commissary to buy fresh salads and sandwiches, shopping for grocery items, or filling their gas tanks," said Frank Garofolo, chief information officer for Holiday Stationstores. "After realizing returns on our investment in the POS solution, we are looking forward to the additional benefits our stores will achieve through Radiant 6e Enterprise Productivity Suite."
Holiday said it is realizing significant returns on its investment in Radiant technology through increased productivity, improved cash flows and increased accountability. Automated processes reduce store managers' daily paperwork, ensures more accurate pricing and deliver savings through enhanced inventory management.
In addition, the POS interface reduces training time for new employees at Holiday stores from four hours to only one hour and facilitates quick customer service as well as transaction accuracy. The system also gives Holiday Stationstores access to data collected at the POS to support better business decisions.
