Holiday Travelers Got a Little Help From Thorntons

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Thorntons Inc. kicked off the holiday season by offering an extra fuel discount to all of its registered Refreshing Rewards members on Nov. 27-28. Members were able to save an additional 10 cents per gallon of fuel purchased with their rewards card.

Thanksgiving travelers could take advantage of the offer at all Thorntons locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, Illinois and Florida. The discount applied to all grades of fuel and carried a 30-gallon maximum limit.

Refreshing Rewards members that were still within the first 30 days of the program and already saving 10 cents per gallon were granted a 20-cent total fuel discount.

Additionally, all Thorntons customers could enjoy a free doughnut with any purchase, while supplies lasted.

The Refreshing Rewards program is free to join by picking up a card at a Thorntons location or registering online at www.refreshingrewards.com.

Louisville-based Thorntons operates 179 gasoline and convenience stores, car washes and travel plazas in six states.
