InContext’s New Virtual Simulation Space Helps Turn Ideas Into Reality
CHICAGO – InContext Solutions’ new ShopperLAB is giving retailers and manufacturers the opportunity to be immersed in a real-time, life-size, interactive virtual simulation.
The space is designed to enable retailers and other stakeholders to hold research and planning meetings and visually present new ideas when it comes to conquering major tasks such as modifications to store layouts and aisle changes.
“With ShopperLAB, users can experience the power of real-time and drag-and-drop concept ideation,” said InContext Solutions CEO Mark Hardy. “Our technology allows us to replicate retailers’ exact stores so the virtualization is an accurate depiction of in-store concepts.”
The simulation space can hold up 14 people; has a 12-foot by 6-foot screen that streams a visual quality beyond high definition; is enabled for live video/audio streaming, recording and tagging; and can allow the moderator to receive live feedback from any location.
According to Hardy, ShopperLAB is the “ideal place” for retailers, manufacturers and stakeholders to gain new insight into consumers’ habits and attitudes.
InContext Solutions, founded in 2009, aims to provide a unique and in-depth perspective on what consumers see on the shelf, how this drives their purchase behavior and why.
