Independent Truck Stops Adopt TransTech Scanning
LEXINGTON, Va. -- Three independent truck stop and travel centers signed up to offer Pegasus TransTech's TransFlo Express truck stop scanning solution, including White's Travel Center in Raphine, Va. and Lee Hi Travel Plaza in Lexington, Va., both located off Interstate 81 in central Virginia, according to TruckstopInfo.com. The Golden Acorn Casino & Travel Center, located off I-8 in Campo, Calif., will also offer TransFlo Express.
"A lot more people use TransFlo Express, and a lot of people ask for it," Bob Moore, fuel coordinator at White's Travel Center said in the report. "It will be advantageous to us as well."
With TransFlo Express, drivers hand their documents to a trained cashier for scanning and they are sent electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing, according to the report.
"We welcome White's, Lee Hi, and the Golden Acorn to the growing network of truck stops that offer TransFlo Express," said Bob Helms, chairman and CEO of Pegasus TransTech. "All three provide essential services for truckers along major interstate routes."
