International News: One Stop Upgrades Paragon System
LONDON -- In an effort to boost efficiency throughout its United Kingdom distribution operation, convenience store chain One Stop upgraded its existing Paragon system to incorporate the company’s Fleet Controller software.
"We were looking for a complete solution that would enable us not just to track our vehicles, but to monitor performance against the plan, both in real time and for end of day reporting purposes," David Scott, head of distribution at One Stop, told LogisticsManager.com.
Scott explained the software, which includes Navman Wireless vehicle tracking, messaging and navigation, is designed to offer routing and scheduling optimization capabilities, along with fleet tracking technology giving operators full visibility in order to monitor its 500 locations in England and Whales more effectively.
