Irving Oil Debuts New Rewards Program

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- In this time of high gas prices, and with summer travel just around the corner, Irving Oil is launching a new rewards program for customers. Visitors to any of its 289 participating locations in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island can save at the pump and possibly win free gas for a year through Irving Rewards.

The more drivers fill up at Irving between now and Aug. 31, the more they'll save on gas. Every $200 in fuel purchases earns Irving Rewards members 10 cents off per gallon at their next fill-up.

Customers can obtain an Irving Rewards card, register it online at, and use it during every fill-up at participating Irving locations. When the card recognizes $200 in fuel purchases, it will automatically roll back the gas price at the next visit.

Customers who register their card online are also entered to win one of six prizes of free gas for a year, or one of 100 Irving gift cards for $100. Irving Rewards teams also will be giving out free gas cards and prizes at select locations throughout New England starting in July.

"We don't want our customers to have to think twice about taking their summer road trips," stated Harry Hadiaris, general manager of Irving Oil. "Summer travel is essential for many families. With Irving Rewards, families can fuel up and save immediately and potentially win free gas for a year."

The Irving Rewards promotion runs through Aug. 31 in terms of earning rewards, and all rewards are redeemable 30 days from when they are earned, the company said.

Irving Oil operates Canada's largest refinery, just over the Maine border in Saint John, N.B., and has nearly 900 service stations and travel plazas in New England and Eastern Canada.
