Jack Link's Going After Breakfast Daypart

MINONG, Wis. — Portable protein giant Jack Link's is tapping into a new daypart for the company: breakfast.

Inviting consumers to wake up with Jack Link's, the company introduces four new bacon and sausage breakfast items under the "A.M." label.

"As the pioneer of the meat snacks category, we're always driving the category forward through innovation to meet the needs of our consumers," said Tom Dixon, chief marketing officer of Jack Link's. "We saw an opportunity to expand into a new daypart by adding breakfast items to our portfolio for the first time. Now, it's easy to meat the day with naturally high, complete protein — meat."

The new items include:

Jack Link's Original Breakfast Sausage. Using flavors like sage and black pepper, the taste starts out sweet and smoky, but finishes with a savory twist. It is available in 4-ounce packages for a suggested retail price of (SRP) $6.99 or 1.4 ounces for $1.99.

Jack Link's Hot and Spicy Breakfast Sausage. Kicking original sausage up a notch with extra black and red pepper, Hot and Spicy Breakfast Sausage can be found in 4-ounce packages for $6.99 SRP or 1.4 ounces for $1.99.

Jack Link's Applewood Breakfast Bacon. Bacon is complemented with Applewood smoke and brown sugar for a combination of salty, sweet and smoky. It is available in 2.5-ounce packages for $6.99 SRP and 1.25-ounce packages for $3.99.

Jack Link's Maple Flavored Breakfast Bacon. The bold and smoky flavors lead into a caramelized brown sugar and maple taste for Maple Flavored Breakfast Bacon, which can be found in 2.5-ounce packaging for $6.99 SRP or $3.99 for 1.25 ounces.
