Jon Bratta Brings His Fresh-Food Expertise to Core-Mark

SAN FRANCISCO Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc. is adding to its executive team with the addition of Jon Bratta as vice president of marketing. He will operate out of Core-Mark's corporate headquarters in San Francisco and report to Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Chris Hobson.

Bratta will work with the marketing team and provide ongoing support for training, development and management. He will be responsible for marketing programs, vendor relations and the company's fresh food and vendor consolidation strategic initiatives.

Bratta has 25 years of convenience industry leadership experience and served as vice president of packaged goods at The Pantry Inc. before his most recent role as vice president of fresh foods.

Prior to that, he spent 10 years with BP/ampm in various marketing roles with oversight of beverages, supply chain, private brands and contracts. He also spent 11 years in operations and merchandising with 7-Eleven Inc., culminating with the setup of its pilot fresh commissary and fresh bakery in Southern California.

Core-Mark is one of the largest marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the convenience retail industry.
