Kangaroo Express to Provide Black Friday Boost
CARY, N.C. — Kangaroo Express will celebrate Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, by offering a 16-ounce Bean Street Coffee for just 25 cents.
Shoppers who visit Kangaroo Express' more than 1,500 locations between 11 p.m. Nov. 27 — Thanksgiving night —and 5 a.m. Nov. 28 will receive Bean Street Coffee for a quarter, limited to one per customer, while supplies last.
“In the spirit of value shopping on Black Friday, Kangaroo Express is brewing up a great deal for its loyal guests across the Southeast,” said Gordon Schmidt, senior vice president of operations for Kangaroo Express. “We invite all late-night and early-morning shoppers to visit their local Kangaroo Express and fuel up with a great-tasting cup of Bean Street Coffee for only 25 cents this Black Friday.”
Kangaroo Express is also about to celebrate the "12 Days of Coffee," leading up to Black Friday. Customers will have the chance to win free Bean Street Coffee during this time. To participate, consumers need to post a selfie with their Bean Street Coffee beginning Monday on the Kangaroo Express Facebook page or using #12DaysofCoffee on Twitter or Instagram.
Twelve winners will be selected from the entries to win free Bean Street Coffee for a week. One of these 12 lucky winners also will win a grand prize of free Bean Street Coffee for a month.
Kangaroo Express is the primary operating banner of Cary-based The Pantry Inc. The company operated 1,518 stores in 13 states as of Oct. 7.
