Knight Enterprises Auctioning Off 40 Gas Stations

CHICAGO --- Knight Enterprises Inc., operators of Midwest-based gas stations and other commercial properties, is looking to sell 35 convenience stores with 15-year fuel supply agreement as well as five shuttered gas stations with convenience store locations. In total, the company, which also serves as a petroleum distributor to more than 155 stores in Michigan, also put on the auction block a 71,000-square foot strip shopping center, 15 commercial lots in Albion, Mich., a 200-acre development in Grayling, Mich. and a closed restaurant.

NRC Realty Advisors will handle the sealed bid sale of the 56 properties located in Michigan, Ohio and Illinois. "These are exceptional properties in high-traffic areas," said Hope Mineo, managing director of NRC. "Knight's national reputation for c-store excellence makes these sites immediately appealing. We expect to generate strong buying interest throughout the entire Midwest, if not beyond."

All locations on auction will be sold in a sealed-bid sale in a "buy one, some or all" format. Bids are due Dec. 14. For guidelines or ordering information, contact NRC's Service Center at (800) 747-3342 Ext. 614.

Knight is also an E85 distributor that has been an important part of the introduction of that fuel to the Midwest.
