Kroger Co. Names New Kwik Shop President
HUTCHINSON, Kan. -- Grocery chain Kroger Co. promoted Jeff Parker to the role of president of its 131-unit Kwik Shop convenience store division, the company stated.
In this role, Parker will oversee Kwik Shop stores in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. Parker previously served as senior vice president of operations for Kwik Shop, and was the corporate controller for Kroger's convenience stores, Turkey Hill Dairy and supermarket petroleum operations before joining its Kwik Shop division, according to the company.
"Jeff brings extensive experience to his new position, and we look forward to his significant contributions as we focus on making it even easier for customers to enjoy the benefits of shopping our convenience stores," Van Tarver, vice president of Kroger's convenience store division, said in a statement.
