KSS Launches Facebook Fan Page
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- KSS Inc. launched a Facebook fan page, using the popular social media tool as another way to communicate with customers and others interested in KSS, the Fuels Pricing Experts, the vendor reported.
"Social networking sites, like Facebook, allow for two-way interaction with customers by providing a platform to easily gather feedback, encourage participation and give a sense of ownership to our followers," said Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Inc. "Our Facebook site is just one more tool in our communications toolbox to offer easily accessible communications to our customers and other key audiences in a variety of formats that suit individual preferences."
KSS will use its Facebook page to alert customers and fans about new product announcements, post relevant industry information, and keep followers updated on corporate news, Stein reported.
In other company news, KSS will attend four events between April 27 and May 7, to discuss the operational challenges faced by fuels retailers today. These include the following:
-- Gulf Oil Brand Meeting, Atlantic City, N.J., April 27
-- SIGMA Spring Convention, Tucson, Ariz., April 29 - May 2
-- NACS/Convenience Store News CIO Roundtable, New Orleans, May 5
-- NACStech, Booth #929, New Orleans, May 6-7
"Trade events such as these are great opportunities to talk face-to-face with fuels retailers to discuss business issues that are most critical to running their businesses most successfully and efficiently," said Stein. "We are leading the charge to improve fuels pricing business efficiencies because we invest the time and interest in our customers to learn the obstacles in their way."
