Loaf 'N Jug Convention Underway

PUEBLO, Colo -- The Loaf 'N Jug convenience store chain, part of the 782 convenience stores operated by the Kroger Co., kicked off its seventh annual regional convention for company personnel and vendors today at the Pueblo Convention Center, the Pueblo Chieftain reported.

The convention runs through Friday and includes a trade show featuring nearly 90 vendors, the report stated. This year, more than 500 Loaf 'N Jug workers are expected to attend the show, according to the report.

The show’s growth is evident.

"This year, not only are we shuttling people to other hotels, we have had to schedule some of our events at other nearby venues due to lack of meeting room space at the convention center," Art Stawski, Loaf 'N Jug's president, told the Chieftain.
