Love's Celebrates 300th Store Opening
LENOIR CITY, Tenn. -- Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores celebrated a major milestone with the opening of its 300th travel stop here on July 23, according to a report by Tire Business. A grand-opening celebration was held for customers and the community at the new location on Interstate 40 at exit 364.
The event featured appearances by FrontRow Motorsports NASCAR drivers David Gilliland (No. 38) and David Ragan (No. 34) with the Love's Travel Stops-sponsored race car, as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce. The drivers signed autographs and took photos with fans.
"The celebration of our 300th store opening is a momentous occasion for Love's, our customers and the community of Lenoir City," said Tom Love, founder and CEO of Oklahoma City-based Love's. "This event shows our continued growth and dedication to the communities that make our business possible."
Love's also presented a $15,000 donation to go toward the restoration of Lenoir City's downtown War Memorial building and a $2,000 donation to help construct a handicapped-accessible community park. Regional Love's employees held a volunteer event repainting picnic tables at Lenoir City Park.
