Love's Opens New Truck Stops and Chester's Locations
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores opened two new locations in Kansas and Ohio, according to Tire Business.
A Love's Travel Stop was opened in Ottawa, Kan., and features 70 truck spaces, DEF dispensers, showers, a game room and more. It represents Love's 12th Kansas truck stop. The chain also opened a travel stop in Perrysburg, Ohio -- its seventh Ohio location -- offering 126 truck spaces, DEF dispensers, showers and more.
"We are committed to offering our customers a variety of products and services at our travel stops to keep them moving on the road," Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos., told the magazine. "Love's is excited to continue to grow throughout the country to better serve our customers."
In other Love's news, the retailer opened two more restaurants with Chester's International LLC. Both Chester's locations can be found off Interstate 10 but are located thousands of miles apart. One location was opened in Benson, Ariz., while the other opened its doors in Cottondale, Fla. Love's has opened seven Chester's locations so far this year.
"We are excited to catapult the brand forward through growth with Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores," James Venable, director of operations at Chester's, said in a company news release. "Their motto of 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' partnered with Chester's Fresh Fried Chicken makes it a welcome stop on the freeway system."
The new Chester's locations also offer free Wi-Fi service, dine-in seating and a game room.
