Love's, Pilot Flying J Open New Travel Centers

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. and KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Indiana and Illinois residents now have more choices of travel centers.

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores opened a new location at exit 133 off Interstate 65 in Whitestown, Ind., that features Subway and McDonald's restaurants. The travel stop also offers 90 truck spaces, DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) dispensers, CAT scales, five showers, a game room and other amenities.

"We are committed to offering our customers a variety of products and services at our travel stops to keep them moving on the road," said Greg Love, president of Love's Development Cos., as reported by Trucking Info.com.. "Love's is excited to continue to grow throughout the country to better serve our customer."

Love's operates more than 280 locations in 39 states.

In related news, Pilot Flying J opened a new Pilot Travel Center in Gilman, Ill., this morning. The 12,500-square-foot travel center, located at Exit 283 off Interstate 57, features six fuel islands, eight diesel islands and two RV islands, along with a restaurant and a wide variety of convenience items.

Additional features at the Iroquois County travel center include high-speed fuel pumps, a Denny's restaurant, Western Union, an ATM, lottery tickets and an arcade.

"We hope that Gilman-area residents and fleet customers will enjoy the convenience and amenities of our new Pilot Travel Center," said Jimmy Haslam, president and CEO of Pilot Flying J.
