Love's Travel Stops Raise $370,000 for Charity

TECUMSEH, Okla. -- For 2006, Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores raised more than $370,375 for the Children's Miracle Network, the company stated. The 2006 year's donations increased 21 percent over those in 2005. The Love's station here raised nearly $2,000 for the charity, the Tecumseh Countrywide News reported.

"I am appreciative of our customers and proud of the hard work from store manager Dave Emptage and his team in the Children's Miracle Network campaign," Greg Love, co-president of Love's, told the Tecumseh Countrywide News. "Through their hard work and generosity we are able to help children's hospitals in our areas."

Love's Travel Stops operates travel stops and convenience stores in a 30 state area. Founded by Tom Love in 1964, it remains family owned. Love's has been a Children's Miracle Network sponsor for eight years.
