MAPCO Partners with Fleet One
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- MAPCO Express Inc., subsidiary of Delek US Holdings Inc., signed a new partnership with Fleet One LLC, subsidiary of SunTrust Bank, which provides fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions, the Nashville Business Journal reported.
"We have enjoyed our relationship with MAPCO for many years," Robert "Bert" Nix, Fleet One vice president of merchant acceptance, said in a statement cited by the paper. "Their confidence in us to handle their Fleet Advantage program promises much efficiency in time, money and human resources, as well as more options for card users."
Through the agreement, Fleet One will process all aspects of the MAPCO Fleet Advantage program, such as consolidating billing and state-of-the-art reporting, the report stated. Since 1997, MAPCO Express accepted the Fleet One Local card at its retail locations in the Southeastern U.S., according to the report.
The retailer's upgraded Fleet Advantage program features 24-hour customer care, the ability to make real-time account changes, additional payment options, purchase tracking and monitoring, and no transaction fees, the report stated.
