Marathon Oil Corp. to Implement Visa ReadyLink in U.S.
SAN FRANCISCO -- Marathon Oil Corp. is rolling out Visa ReadyLink -- Visa's prepaid reload network -- in 4,000 Marathon Brand retail stations and convenience stores. To date the service rolled out to approximately 2,000 locations, with the remainder expected to be active by the end of 2010, the company reported.
By introducing Visa ReadyLink, Marathon will enable consumers to load funds to their eligible Visa Prepaid cards at thousands of locations.
"Our customers are looking for a greater variety of secure and convenient payment options," said Craig Weigand, Marathon's advertising and credit card manager in a released statement. "Providing Visa ReadyLink is just one more way we can bring our customers value by providing greater access to the services they need."
