HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Mars Chocolate North America launched a new Web site exclusively for convenience store operators -- Mars24seven.com. The site is a resource center for information that c-store operators need to create, enhance and maintain their candy aisle and drive overall store sales, the company stated.
On the site, information is presented in seven sections, covering current information on new products and initiatives, links to individual Mars product Web sites and product information, including specifications, commercials and images, Mars stated.
To help retailers drive impulse purchases, details for in-store displays, promotional calendars, sponsorship information and shopper marketing materials are available on the site.
In addition, c-store operators can access category management information, research in consumer shopping behavior, industry sales data by state, and confectionery best practices.
The site also provides access to Mars' social media initiatives.
