Matrix Capital Names New Senior VP
RICHMOND, Va. -- Matrix Capital Markets Group Inc. promoted Cedric Fortemps to senior vice president. He’s been a member of Matrix’s Energy and Multi-Site Retail Group and the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice since joining the firm in 1998.
Over the past dozen years, Fortemps has been a leading contributor on more than 70 successful Matrix engagements, including the sales of the Virginia assets of Delek US Holdings, ZOOTS Dry Cleaning, Angus I. Hines Inc., Huffman Oil Co., Briggs Hospitality, C. R. Quesenberry Inc., and FFP Marketing Co. Inc.
Fortemps graduated cum laude with a B.S.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond. He is a CFA Charterholder, member of the CFA Institute, and a qualified Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 FINRA General Securities Representative. He also serves on the advisory board for the University of Richmond’s Student Managed Investment Fund, and has been a guest lecturer for the school’s MBA program.
