McDonald's Offers Free Mocha Mondays
OAK BROOK, Ill. -- Starting today and running for four consecutive weeks, McDonald’s will offer customers a free iced or hot mocha from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The fast-food giant will offer one free 7-ounce McCafé Iced Mocha or one free 8-ounce McCafé Hot Mocha beverage per customer, while supplies last. The complimentary beverage promotion highlights the company’s line of espresso-based McCafé specialty beverages—McCafé Mochas. Available hot or iced, they are a medley of espresso, whole or non-fat steamed milk and chocolate syrup, topped with whipped cream and ribbon of chocolate syrup.
According to an Associated Press report, McDonald's has touted its new espresso-based drinks since last summer when the chain began introducing them to menus in all the company's U.S. locations. Reportedly, the nation's No. 1 hamburger chain has said the drinks are already adding to its revenue.
