Milky Way Hitting the Road to Launch Ice Cream Bars

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. -- Mars Chocolate North America is introducing its new Milky Way Chocolate Ice Cream Bars by hitting the road in a fully decked-out, special edition Milky Way Chocolate Ice Cream Truck. Its "out-of-this-world" summer tour kicks off today in Los Angeles.

"The Big Bang Theory" actor Kunal Nayyar will help unveil the truck and greet fans from noon to 2 p.m. PST today at Exposition Park, adjacent to the California Science Center. Visitors to the truck will receive free samples of the new Milky Way Chocolate Ice Cream Bar and enjoy other fun activities.

"We're so excited to launch the new, out-of-this-world Milky Way Chocolate Ice Cream Bars this summer," said Craig Hall, general manager, Mars Chocolate North America. "And, the ice cream truck tour will help us bring the popular Milky Way taste along with our delicious chocolate ice cream to fans across the U.S.!"

Additional scheduled stops on the summer tour include Space Center Houston in Houston, Texas, on June 18 and Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Ill., on June 22.

The Milky Way Chocolate Ice Cream Bar is made with chocolate ice cream and a layer of caramel covered by smooth milk chocolatey coating, delivering the unforgettable Milky Way Bar taste, said Mars. For more information on the bar or the summer tour, visit www.facebook.com/MilkyWay.
