Moosehead Light Beer

Something new is brewing, as Moosehead Light Beer is being made available in 10 U.S. markets -- Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Nebraska, New Jersey, Minnesota, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania -- by Moosehead USA, the U.S. arm of Moosehead Breweries. The Canadian lager contains 4 percent alcohol and 112 calories, while its distinctive green bottle and package complements Moosehead Lager. The metallic blue packaging with light gradients is intended to give the customer "refreshment cues," and the case flaps feature stories about the brewery's history, the company reported. Moosehead Light will initially be available in 12- and 24-pack bottles, as well as 12-pack cans.
