Murphy Oil Teaming With Foursquare at the Pump

EL DORADO, Ark. -- Murphy Oil and Foursquare are teaming up to make consumers' gas budgets go further. Drivers can stop at any of the 1,000 Murphy USA gas stations and get $2 off a $20 gas purchase when they check in with Foursquare, AutoGuide.com reported.

On top of the fuel discount, participants also get a free pack of Stride gum.

This isn't the first time Murphy Oil has used social media to promote the company. Last week, the chain offered a similar coupon on its Facebook page, and the retailer also has an iPhone app that helps drivers locate its convenience stores and gas stations, according to the report.
