Murphy USA & Core-Mark Sign Five-Year Supply Agreement

EL DORADO, Ark. and SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Murphy USA Inc. entered into a five-year supply agreement with Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc. whereby the latter will be the primary wholesale distributor to the retailer, delivering more than 75 percent of the merchandise sold in Murphy USA locations.

This contract, to begin in the first quarter of 2016, is expected to generate approximately $1.7 billion in annual revenue for Core-Mark, while creating efficiencies and a strategic supply chain relationship for Murphy USA.

South San Francisco-based Core-Mark is one of the largest marketers of fresh and broadline supply solutions to the convenience retail industry in North America. Core-Mark offers a full range of products, marketing programs and technology solutions to more than 36,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada via 29 distribution centers.

El Dorado-based Murphy USA operates more than 1,275 convenience stores in 23 states throughout the Southwest, Southeast and Midwest United States.
