Murphy USA Recognizes Swisher as Supplier Partner of the Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Swisher International is now on a five-year streak as Murphy USA Inc.'s Supplier Partner of the Year.

"Swisher International consistently embraces Murphy USA's vision of success and helps make it become a reality," said Kyle Williams, vice president of merchandising for El Dorado, Ark.-based Murphy USA. "Therefore, we are pleased to name Swisher as Supplier Partner of the Year."

The tobacco products manufacturer was ranked as one of the top companies doing business with Murphy USA, according to the results of an internal survey. Swisher was commended for its service, program implementation, reliability and understanding of the convenience store industry, as well as its interest in growing Murphy USA's business, which currently consists of approximately 1,200 gas stations and convenience stores in 23 U.S. states.

“Earning this recognition for the fifth time is quite an accomplishment," said John J. Miller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Swisher International. "Wade Holder, national accounts manager for Swisher, deserves much of the credit for the time, energy, innovation and relationship building he and his team put toward our partnership with Murphy USA each day."

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Swisher International will be formally acknowledged at an upcoming National Managers meeting for Murphy USA later this month.
