National Rollout of VUSE Set for June 23
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- R.J. Reynolds Vapor Co. has circled June 23 as the date its digital vapor cigarette will go national.
Beginning that day, retail outlets in all 50 states will carry VUSE. Additional stores will be added to the distribution throughout the rest of the year, according to the Winston-Salem-based subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc.
"We are proud to expand our distribution of VUSE and offer adult smokers across the nation the most technologically advanced and best-performing digital vapor cigarette on the market," said Stephanie Cordisco, president of RJR Vapor Co. "VUSE will be a game changer in the e-cigarette category, providing an innovative product that meets the expectations of adult tobacco consumers."
RJR Vapor Co. unveiled VUSE in June 2013. The vapor product hit stores in Colorado in July and expanded into Utah earlier this year. Both states are seeing high levels of repeat purchases, according to the company.
"VUSE is redefining enjoyment for adult tobacco consumers and offers a truly satisfying alternative to traditional cigarettes," Cordisco said. "The brand's nationwide expansion is an important step as we position VUSE as the vapor authority, and continue our efforts to lead the transformation of the tobacco industry."
