NATSO Show Traveling to Las Vegas in 2015

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The truck stop and travel plaza industry will be hitting the Las Vegas Strip for the 2015 NATSO Show.

"In 2015, industry executives, buyers and managers will converge in Las Vegas to collaborate with and learn from top industry experts and key industry suppliers who will share insights on today's ahead-of-the-curve trends and offer up cutting-edge solutions tailored to truck stop and travel plaza operators," said NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mullings.

The Alexandria-based trade association will hold its annual event Feb. 16-19 at the Wynn Las Vegas.

"In addition to finding a wealth of knowledge and new products at the show, operators will learn what is coming next from the government and obtain new business contacts that may lead to new business opportunities," Mullings added. "Taking time to attend the show is certainly an investment, but by stepping away from their business to learn and explore new ideas and proven strategies, operators will see a return on their investment for years to come."

Bob Costello, senior vice president and chief economist at the American Trucking Associations (ATA), is lined up to speak at this year's show. According to NATSO, he will discuss the economic factors that will influence the trucking industry throughout the coming year and how these factors will affect truck stop and travel plaza operators.

Costello manages all of ATA's collection, analysis and dissemination of trucking economic information. This includes several monthly trucking economic indicators, motor carrier financial and operating data, an annual freight transportation forecast, driver wage studies, weekly diesel fuel price and economic reports, and a yearly trucking almanac. He also conducts economic analyses of proposed regulations and legislation affecting the trucking industry.

"In today's world, competition is increasing, improved mileage for all vehicles on the road is reducing the number of stops by drivers, and consumers are demanding more personalized service before opening their wallets to spend," explained Darren Schulte, NATSO's vice president of membership. "Operators are working to streamline their operations to meet these opportunities. The NATSO Show will provide insights into all of this and more. Not only will operators find new products and great ideas, they will also connect with their fellow operators who can serve as a resource long after the show is over."

Registration for the event is now open and early-bird pricing is available until Dec. 12. For more information about The NATSO Show, visit www.natsoshow.org.
